Nilai-Nilai Tasawuf Dan Relevansnya Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik

Abstract
Sufism represents the spiritual dimension in Islam, emphasizing the cultivation of morals, purification of the soul, and closeness to Allah SWT. In the context of modern education, the moral and character crises among students have become serious challenges that require a value-based educational approach. This study aims to examine the values of Sufism and their relevance to the character development of students. The research method employed is a library study (literature review) using a qualitative-descriptive approach, with primary and secondary sources including classical Sufi texts and contemporary educational literature. The results of the study indicate that Sufi values such as sincerity (ikhlas), patience (sabar), humility (tawadhu’), asceticism (zuhud), self-monitoring (muraqabah), and love (mahabbah) have strong relevance to character education values in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The implementation of Sufi values in education can serve as a strategic solution for developing students who are religiously oriented, possess integrity, and have noble personalities.
